The club was established back in 2006 by keen riders from the Llanrwst area to encourage people to get out on their bikes and enjoy the surrounding area. The club organise a number of rides and events throughout the year, from club rides to Trailquest competitions to skills sessions for children. Our members range in ability from those with over 20 years experience to complete beginners, our rides are tailored to meet the needs and abilities of those who turn up, our members use their extensive knowledge of the local forests and trails to point people in the right direction! Our rides calendar is varied and includes the mountain bike centres of the area (Marin, Penmachno, Coed y Brenin and Llandegla) as well as taking us on the more natural and wild trails of Snowdonia. Members also arrange their own rides through our forum, some of these rides can be a bit more epic like the 5-day North-South traverse and a 3-day East-West traverse of Wales.

The club is now based in Nant BH Outdoor Centre, where we have a container for our fleet of 15 bikes and trailer. Here we have use of a classroom and toilet and shower facilities, and the exclusive use of the Llwybr Haearn skills track, a 1km track in the grounds specially designed and built to teach and coach mountain bike skills. We hold monthly skills sessions on the track for children and young people, these sessions are run by our qualified mountain bike instructors. We currently have 15 instructors, with a number of years experience of coaching and teaching outdoor activities.
